The Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Mohammad Gami (RA) was observed with great respect, devotion, and spiritual fervor on 13th November 2025 at Doru Shahabad, Anantnag.

The occasion was organized under the auspices of the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, which continues its tradition of honoring the region’s rich Sufi and cultural heritage.

As part of the Urs celebrations, a Mehfil-e-Mushaira (poetic symposium) and a Mehfil-e-Masqooq (spiritual gathering) were held at the residence of the revered saint. Scholars, poets, and devotees from across the Valley participated in these soulful gatherings, offering tributes to the spiritual teachings and poetic contributions of Hazrat Mohammad Gami (RA).

The event reflected the essence of Kashmir’s Sufi tradition, promoting values of love, peace, and universal brotherhood.
